Dean Richards, Rob LaFrentz, in for Dave Schwan, and Jack Heinrich, in for Andy Masur start the show talking about the Chicago Triathlon and alternative races they would rather run on a Sunday morning.

Dr. Santina Wheat, family medicine physician at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva joins Dean for this week’s health update. They discuss the confirmed cases of West Nile Virus found in the Chicago area, methods to stay safe from the disease-carrying mosquitos and take listener questions.

Dean kicks off his This Week in Theatre with an interview with BJ Jones, the Artistic Director, for the Northlight Theater Company. Dean also gives a salute to legendary theater director and producer Hal Prince. Prince won 21 Tony awards throughout his career and became synonymous with many of the most notable works of all time such as Cabaret and Fiddler on the Roof.
